Implications of social networking for Employers

Social networking sites have quickly become part of not just our personal lives, but our business lives also. Employers are commonly using sites such as Facebook, Linked In and Twitter to generate business, advertise jobs and maintain relationships. However employers are also under increasing pressure to ensure that employees do not make comments on such sites, in either a personal or business context that bring the employer, any of the employer’s employees or anyone connected to the employer into disrepute.
