Paul is a recognised expert in the field of employment law.

He has acted exclusively in employment law since 1997. Paul founded Collingwood Legal in 2010 having previously worked for a top 5 law firm in London and as a Partner with a large commercial firm in Newcastle. He is the firm’s Principal Solicitor and Managing Partner.

Paul has a successful track record in defending claims at Tribunal and achieving results for his clients. He is a TUPE expert and frequently advises on whistleblowing cases. His experience includes strategic advice on restructuring and protective award claims. Recent work highlights include securing significantly enhanced termination payments in respect of a high-profile and large-scale manufacturing site closure. He has acted in cases at the Employment Tribunal, EAT, High Court, Court of Appeal and ECJ.

Outside of his legal practice Paul has interests in education and business and he has experience as a University governor and is an active member of the Entrepreneurs Forum.
