Alexandra is a French national who has established a life and legal career in the UK. Alexandra qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and immediately specialised in Employment law. She has also been recommended in the Legal 500.
After qualifying, Alexandra joined a niche employment law firm based in Newcastle and her experience includes advising on the terms and effect of Settlement Agreement, developing policies and procedures for employers without an HR department, tackling complex contentious issues including Tribunal claims involving complaints of bullying and harassment, discrimination and Whistleblowing, as well as unfair dismissal, advising both employees and employers from the private and public sector.
Alexandra also has experience in advising in respect of capability, disciplinary and grievance issues, investigating complex grievances as an independent investigator whilst working as an HR advisor in the public sector (including in particular serious complaints of race discrimination), absence management, workplace reorganisation and redundancies, advising both on selection matrices and consultation process. Alexandra has also represented clients in various mediations. She joined the firm in March 2015.
